Eisteddfod organisers have been forced to close a campsite and Maes B as adverse weather causes disruption across Wales.
Following advice from Conwy Council, North Wales Police and Natural Resources Wales, organisers of the festival in Llanrwst will close Maes B and the young people’s campsite on safety grounds.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain which will be in place across the whole of Wales today with the risk of flooding in places.
A warning of strong winds is in force until midnight Saturday.
Organisers of the festival say a shelter has been set up next to Ysgol Dyffryn for anyone who is unable to leave the site immediately.
Parents or friends wishing to collect children or young people should make arrangements to pick them up from the leisure centre.
Young people who travelled to the Eisteddfod by train are advised to catch the shuttle bust to Llanrwst North station from the Eisteddfod Maes.
